Birmingham teacher flies to France for lunch saying it's cheaper than a UK day out

A Birmingham teacher has been flying to European cities for day trips nearly every month after discovering cheap return flights from Birmingham Airport – and says a trip to France for lunch cost her just £70, less than a typical UK day out.
