Bhu Bharati resurvey aims to settle long pending land disputes, says Minister

Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy has said the Bhu Bharati re-survey will provide a permanent solution to long-pending land disputes in Telangana and restore confidence among farmers and landowners.Speaking after distributing Bhu Aadhaar-linked pattadar passbooks to 780 farmers covering 1,378 acres after resolving an assigned decade-old land dispute at Narayanapur in Kesamudram mandal in Mabubabad district on Monday, Mr. Reddy said a comprehensive land survey had been conducted in Telangana about 125 years ago and no such exercise had been undertaken since then.
