BGB stops three from entering Bangladesh in BSF push-in
The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) today foiled an alleged attempt by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) to push three people into Bangladesh through the Jibannagar border in Chuadanga.The incident took place early today at the Madhabkhali area of Jibannagar upazila, said Munshi Imdadur Rahman, assistant director of Maheshpur 58 BGB Battalion.According to the BGB, members of the BSF's Meteri Camp under its 32 Battalion attempted to push a man and two women into Bangladesh through a gate in India's security fence near border pillar No 70/2-S.The BGB personnel on duty prevented the three from entering Bangladesh.The three then remained about 40 yards inside India from the zero line.
