Beyond the walls of Siddhavatam Fort
Once a strategic military outpost and briefly the administrative headquarters of the Cuddapah district, the fort witnessed shifting centres of power. Its history, inscriptions, temples, sculptures, and architectural remains reveal the rich cultural legacy of this centuries-old monument, which is nestled between the Palakonda and Veligonda hill ranges, situated on the left bank of the Penna River.
