Police teams checked 575 shops and commercial establishments, including medical stores, hotels, grocery and stationery shops, mobile stores, ice-cream parlours and photocopy shops located near educational institutions. | Photo Credit: Getty Images The East Division police, as part of the ‘Beda Bro’ and ‘RISE’ campaigns, conducted a special drive around educational institutions to prevent drug abuse among students and curb the sale of narcotic and prohibited substances.Police teams checked 575 shops and commercial establishments, including medical stores, hotels, grocery and stationery shops, mobile stores, ice-cream parlours and photocopy shops located near educational institutions.During the drive, the police booked four drug cases, 232 petty cases and 282 cases under the Cigarettes and O
