The centre was opened in 1973 by Sir Ken Dodd, and since its first day has welcomed thousands of shoppers from the area through its doors to visit a number of independent businesses and retail chains.‌From today, shoppers will be able to visit The Work's new store at Unit 50 in Belle Vale Shopping Centre, which is located next to Iceland. The new store will bring even more great-value books, arts and crafts, toys, games and stationery to the area, along with an estimated six new jobs for the local community.‌Emily King, Store Manager at The Works Belle Vale, said: "I'm incredibly proud to be opening The Works in Belle Vale.
