Bear killed by RCMP was animal that attacked B.C. toddler, contrary to earlier finding

A black bear shot and killed by RCMP officers after a toddler was attacked at her home in Maple Ridge, B.C., was, in fact, the animal responsible for the mauling, according to the B.C. Conservation Officer Service.
