Bakery shuts its only Liverpool store on Bold Street

The brand was originally Manchester-based before opening a kiosk next to Albert's Schloss in December 2023.‌The unique thing about Gooey was that once it ran out of cookies and doughnuts that were on display, the shop closed. As the website states, it is open from 12am to 6pm or "earlier if sold out". When it first opened, the viral brand attracted customers waiting down Bold Street to get their hands on bakes that had previously received a glowing endorsement from American pop singer Lizzo.‌Today, the brand has over 120,000 social media followers and operates from two sites down the other side of the M62, including O
