Bail refused for woman accused of threatening to ‘kick the baby’ out of pregnant woman

A woman has been remanded in custody after a court heard she had allegedly threatened to “kick the baby” out of a pregnant woman. Hannah Duddy (31), of Lisnavar Court in Derry, was charged with two counts of assault, making threats, criminal damage, disorderly behaviour and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to cause actual bodily harm on July 28.Derry Magistrate’s Court heard on Wednesday that the defendant was arrested after police were initially called to a report that she had assaulted a pregnant woman and her partner.Police were told Duddy was threatening them with a knife that the court heard was located when she was searched.She was also said to have been verbally abusive to police while being arrested.The court heard Duddy had allegedly kicked in the door of the alleged
