Aviation carbon tax generates €31.5 million

The carbon levy applied to air passengers generated €31.48 million in revenue during the first half of 2026. According to data released by the National Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC), this figure represents a 2.9% increase compared to the €30.6 million collected during the same period the previous year.
