The Australian Army deployed the Vector AI reconnaissance drone during the Southern Jackaroo exercises at the Townsville training area in Queensland. Produced by the German firm Quantum Systems, the drone features AI-driven data processing for autonomous target detection and real-time mapping. The platform’s software and resilience to electronic warfare were adapted using data from thousands of flight hours in Ukraine.
