Atmospheric Welsh castle to host huge BBQ feast

Mabon will take place at Caldicot Castle11:42, 18 Aug 2026An atmospheric Welsh castle will host a four-course barbecue feast and food stalls specialising in smoked meats and fire cooking this autumn.‌Celebrating the autumn equinox across the weekend of September 25 to 27, Mabon will return to Caldicot Castle for the second time.‌Kicking off with a four-course fire feast on the Friday night, cooked by Hang Fire BBQ’s Sam & Shauna. Chefs appearing throughout the weekend include Feast Pembrokeshire, Cai Ap Bryn (Games & Flames), Smokey Rebel, Leviathan pits featuring chef James Peck, Polly Baldwin from The Jolly Allotment and more to be announced. The Smoke & Fire demonstration stage will be hosted by comedian Jayde Adams and Hang Fire BBQ’s Shauna Guinn.‌Chefs will be cooking outdoors around
