Officers are in attendance on Delamere Street, in Ashton-under-Lyne, this morning (August 19).The street has been closed off between Wood Street and Stamford Street Central. Tape has been placed around a cardboard box on the ground, which is underneath scaffolding. An item of clothing has also been seen on the ground.Further details on the exact nature of the incident are yet to be confirmed.
