Arrest following south Belfast stabbing incident

One person has been arrested following a stabbing incident in south Belfast on Wednesday evening.The incident happened at around 7.30pm.The PSNI confirmed that they were at the scene of the incident on Fitzroy Avenue, with a section of the road cordoned off.One person is reported to have been taken to hospital. A police spokesperson said on Wednesday: “Police are currently at the scene of a stabbing incident in the Fitzroy Avenue area of south Belfast. “One person has been arrested and update will follow in due course.”
