Armed robbers fatally shot a man at a gas station after robbing it early Tuesday on the Southwest Side. Around 2:50 a.m., at least one gunman entered the Thorntons, 3450 S. California Ave, and took money, Chicago police said. While fleeing with cash, one of the robbers opened fire, fatally striking a 36-year-old man multiple times in the body, police said.
