South Wales Police were called to an incident at Heather Close in the Tonypandy area of the Rhondda on Saturday morning.The force said it was called to the residential street to reports of a man making threats at around 10.30am. He was also claiming to have access to firearms at his address, a police spokeswoman said.A man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and affray.No weapons were found but investigations are continuing.
