Appointments to nominated posts in Telangana may face delays, Ministers seek early filling of key corporation posts

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee’s (TPCC) exercise to fill nominated posts is likely to be delayed further as consultations continue over the reappointment of several incumbents amid a reported lack of consensus on some appointments.Although the Congress leadership recently announced that appointments would be made in phases, party sources indicated that nearly half of the former chairpersons may not be reappointed.While senior Congress leaders and former legislators have intensified their lobbying for appointments to corporations, boards and other nominated positions following the party leadership’s move to fill key vacancies, ministers have reportedly suggested prioritising appointments to corporations dealing with agriculture and allied sectors. The suggestion comes in view of the n
