Anthropic Backer G Squared Raises $2.3 Billion for Seventh Fund

Larry Ashchebrook, founder and managing partner of G Squared, said it is his job to get involved in the 'companies of tomorrow' before they're household names and that his company took a 'contrarian' view to get involved with Anthropic, Polymarket and Nscale, early on. Aschebrook also talked about the macro environment, saying that he sees some macro headwinds in the next few months, including the US election and a potential interest rate hike. (Source: Bloomberg)
