Another flood warning in effect for Philly, then expect 100-plus heat indexes Thursday

Yet another rinse-and-repeat flood warning was in effect for Philadelphia and portions of adjacent counties until 5 p.m. Wednesday as more downpours continued to ooze through the region.The National Weather Service advised that heavy rains wrung out of the soupy atmosphere along a narrow corridor cutting through the city have been causing travel disruptions during the afternoon.The weather service said that 1.23 inches of rain had been measured at Philadelphia International Airport, just between noon and 1 p.m. Over 2 inches fell upon parts of Bucks County.Road flooding was widespread in Philly, Bucks County, and South Jersey.Among the highways affected were the Schuylkill Expressway in the Point Breeze area; I-95 in Eastwick, the Platt Bridge, and in the Croydon, Bucks County area, where
