August 07, 2026 4:19 PM ET A man with multiple prior arrests was charged Thursday with assaulting a woman in Charlotte, North Carolina, the same city where Iryna Zarutska was killed, police say.The suspect, 32-year-old Di-Quan Schafar Hunt, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon after the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department identified a social media account containing multiple videos under investigation, the department said in a statement.Among the videos was one that appears to show Hunt filming himself committing an assault that had been reported on July 30, police said.
