Andy Burnham government confirms two changes for car and bus users with £102 boost

The Makerfield MP has confirmed a new bus fare cap - and VAT reduction on energy bills - from January 2027 and October 2026 respectively.‌Carwow has said drivers stand to benefit to the tune of £65 thanks to the VAT cut.
