Amber Highway Awarded: Dominican Republic’s US$476M Northern Corridor

The Dominican Republic has awarded the Amber Highway contract, a RD$28.8 billion (about US$476 million) toll road that will slash travel time between Santiago de los Caballeros and Puerto Plata to less than 30 minutes, with construction expected to begin in August 2026.
