Amadou Onana in talks over new Aston Villa contract through to 2031

Amadou Onana is the latest Aston Villa player to enter into contract discussions.Onana’s existing deal runs until 2029, but the midfielder is in talks to extend his stay until 2031.The 25-year-old joins a list of Villa players who are in discussions over a possible extension, along with Ian Maatsen, Emiliano Buendia, Lamare Bogarde, Ross Barkley and Victor Lindelof.The Athletic reported last week that Villa aimed to negotiate new contracts for a number of players.
