Air ambulance lands in Rainhill as car and bus crash - updates

Road closures are in place after a crash between a car and a bus this morning. Merseyside Police were called to Warrington Road in Rainhill just before 10.30am on Friday, July 31.Eyewitnesses have reported that police, ambulances and the air ambulance are in attendance. Traffic monitoring service Inrix said Warrington Road (A57) is blocked in both directions from Chatsworth Road to Arnside Avenue.
