The government viewed the assault as transnational repression by the Chinese government, brought about by its Ethnic Unity and Progress Promotion Law, which took effect this month.Yaita, who became a Taiwanese citizen in 2024, in a news conference in Taipei yesterday thanked the public for their concern and said he is recoverin
