The Las Vegas Aces announced on Tuesday that they had waived guard Chennedy Carter. In a corresponding move, the team signed former Indiana Fever guard Justine Pissott.Carter was the fourth overall pick by the Atlanta Dream in the 2020 WNBA Draft. She played for the Dream for only two seasons, but it was still a controversial tenure.During the 2021 season, the Dream suspended her indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team.The guard was then traded to the Los Angeles Sparks. After playing 24 games for the franchise in the 2022 season, she was waived.Carter did not play during the 2023 season, but returned in 2024 with the Chicago Sky.
