ABVP opposes move to turn RIE’s PM SHRI school into Kendriya Vidyalaya

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Mysuru, has strongly opposed the proposal to convert the PM SHRI Experimental School on the Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Mysuru, campus into a Kendriya Vidyalaya.The Parishad submitted a memorandum to the Director of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) through the RIE Principal, urging the authorities to reconsider the proposal.In a statement, the Parishad said the PM SHRI Experimental School serves as an important platform for teacher training, demonstrating innovative teaching methods, educational experimentation and research activities.
