Aaron Boone provides Yankees fans with hopeful Max Fried injury update

Max Fried may be back on the mound sooner rather than later for the New York Yankees. Fried was recently placed on the 15-day injured list with a bone bruise in his throwing elbow. The left-hander missed two months earlier this season with an identical injury. However, the three-time All-Star shouldn't require that much time away from the field to recover this time around. "Max Fried will throw a side session tomorrow, setting up a potential live BP. Returning in the minimum 15 days is still in play, Aaron Boone said," MLB.com's Bryan Hoch reported on X. It's a good sign for the Yankees that Fried is already active and throwing. Obviously, the AL East club would love to have him healthy and back in the rotation well before the postseason begins.
