AAERI launches digital platform to verify credentials of Indian students applying to Australia
The Association of Australian Education Representatives in India (AAERI), the apex body representing certified Australian education agents in India, has launched AAERI Verify, a digital platform aimed at authenticating the academic, identity and financial credentials of Indian students applying to study in Australia.The platform was unveiled at AAERI’s annual convention in New Delhi by AAERI president Nishidhar Borra along with senior officials from the National e-Governance Division (NeGD) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).AAERI Verify leverages India’s digital public infrastructure, particularly DigiLocker, to enable consent-based verification of records directly from source issuers.
