A’s part ways with general manager in stunning front-office shakeup

The A’s are moving on from their general manager. According to The Athletics Ken Rosenthal and Charlotte Varnes, the A’s are parting ways with GM David Forst after nearly 11 seasons in the role. The team has named assistant general manager Dan Feinstein as interim GM. “David has been an integral part of the A’s and our success for nearly three decades,” A’s owner John Fisher wrote in a statement.
