A necessary evil?

Sentient traces the journey of Dr Lisa Jones-Engel, primatologist turned activist. She is the Jane Goodall of macaques, the small monkeys found in Asia, which are farmed and used to test new medicines in laboratories around the world. Directed by Tony Jones, formerly of the ABC's Q&A, the film premieres next week.
