As you have likely noticed, we recently debuted a brand new Dispatch commenting system, replacing the third-party system (Disqus) we used before. The new system is faster, easier to use, and fully customized for The Dispatch community, built by us—for you. Just about everything you could do before is still available, and a lot of it works better than it did before—but some functions have moved. This guide will walk you through the most common questions we anticipate you having. The single biggest change: Your commenting profile (your photo, your display name, and your settings) no longer lives on a separate settings page; those settings can now be managed directly inside the comments section itself by clicking your own
