8 Quezon towns, Laguna suspend classes as habagat brings heavy rains

LUCENA CITY – Eight local government units (LGUs) in Quezon province and the entire province of Laguna suspended face-to-face classes in public and private schools on Monday, Aug. 1, as heavy rains brought by the southwest monsoon or habagat continued to affect the Calabarzon region.
