£640,000 cocaine bust lands Paisley man behind bars

A man caught in £640,000 cocaine bust is behind bars. Steven Kirk, 29, was snared following a raid at his flat in Paisley, Renfrewshire last October 8. Police initially discovered five taped blocks of cocaine on the living room floor. Three were marked "M and M", the other two "Audi". Others hauls of the class A narcotic were found in the flat as well as a large amount of drug-related equipment. These included scales, mixing bowls, a thermometer, gloves, bags and what was described as a "Batman-symbol plate" as well as similar items with "white powder residue". A total of almost £4,000 in cash was seized from under a table and in a TV unit drawer. Prosecutor David Fisken said the total amount of cocaine found was just under eight-kilogrammes.
