59 passengers stranded in Batanes, special flights urged

CAUAYAN CITY – Fifty-nine tourists and island visitors are currently stranded in the province of Batanes as of Thursday (August 20) as bad weather caused by the southwest monsoon continues to hound the island after weeks of rain.  The provincial government has asked for mercy flights to fetch 59 island guests who are under the
