53.1% of Gruha Jyothi verification completed in CESC

Sriram The data collection drive to verify the Gruha Jyothi beneficiaries under the jurisdiction of Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) has reached 53.1%, according to MLC and Vice Chairman of the State Guarantee Schemes’ Implementation Authority Dinesh Gooligowda.In a statement here on Saturday, Mr. Gooligowda said the government is providing free electricity to 1.67 crore households across Karnataka under the Gruha Jyothi scheme and there are a total of 25.31 lakh beneficiaries of the scheme under CESC’s jurisdiction, which is spread across the districts of Mysuru, Mandya, Kodagu, Chamarajanagar and Hassan.If the Bhagya Jyothi, Kuteera Jyothi and Amrutha J
