34-year-old assistant professor at Kozhikode Medical College found dead in quarters
An assistant professor in the Department of Biochemistry at Government Medical College, Kozhikode, Kerala, was found dead at his quarters in the KSHB Colony in Kozhikode on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Nikhil Chandran (34), a native of Malappuram.He was found dead after his friends went to check on him when he failed to report for duty in the morning. They alerted the Medical College police, who arrived at the scene, broke open the locked door, and confirmed his death.The body was later shifted to the Medical College Hospital mortuary.
