22A: Officials directed to upload land records by August 14

Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy on Tuesday sought to allay concerns over lands figuring in the Prohibited Properties (POB)/Section 22-A of the Registration Act list, assuring that all legally eligible claimants would receive justice.Addressing a meeting of Collectors and Sub-Registrars of Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri and Sangareddy districts at the Secretariat here, Mr. Reddy directed officials to upload all relevant records pertaining to land regularisation, including Government Orders (G.O.), circulars, memos, land acquisition proceedings and layout approvals, online by August 14. He said that this would help eliminate the use of forged documents and enable registration authorities to distinguish between genuine and fraudulent claims with greater certainty.The rev
