2026 SEC football preseason poll: Georgia and Texas are voted as the top two teams

There are two clear favorites in the SEC ahead of the 2026 college football season.Georgia and Texas received the vast majority of first-place votes in the league’s annual preseason media poll that was released on Friday. The Bulldogs easily took the top spot with 88 of the 164 first-place votes.
