20 passengers injured in TGSRTC bus-lorry collision in Jagtial district

Around 20 passengers were injured, five of them seriously, when a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) bus and a lorry collided head-on near Kondagattu in Mallial mandal of Jagtial district on Monday evening.The packed bus was travelling from Karimnagar towards Jagtial when the accident occurred on the Karimnagar-Jagtial main road, resulting in a traffic jam stretching for over a kilometre, sources said.The bus driver was trapped in the cabin following the collision between the two vehicles on the busy highway.The injured driver and nearly 20 passengers were rushed to the Government General Hospital in Jagtial.
