2 JMB members sentenced to 20 years in 2006 Cumilla explosives case

A Cumilla court today sentenced two members of the banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) to 20 years’ rigorous imprisonment each in a case filed under the Explosive Substances Act in 2006.The convicts are Md Mostafizur Rahman, also known as Mintu, Samad and Rajib, of Naogaon, and Mohammad Durul Huda, also known as Hasan, of Chakpara in Sreepur upazila of Gazipur.The court also sentenced another accused, Khaleda Akter Rani, to eight years’ rigorous imprisonment in the same case.
