13-year-old shot in Englewood

A teen was shot while sitting inside an Englewood home Tuesday afternoon, according to Chicago police. The boy, 13, was inside a residence in the 7300 block of South Emerald Avenue at 5:46 p.m. when he was shot in the leg, police said. He was taken to Comers Children’s Hospital in good condition. No one is in custody.
